Our company
originated as Mid Continent Millwork Inc. in 1974, from a small
operation in Cottonwood, Minnesota. The name changed to Mid
Continent Cabinetry Inc. in 1982. By 1983, the Cottonwood plant
had expanded several times, but sales growth required the opening
of an additional plant in Newton, Kansas.
The company
name changed again to Norcraft Companies in 1991, to allow
development of two distinct cabinetry brands: Mid Continent
Cabinetry® for new construction and remodeling markets,
and Norcraft Cabinetry® for the retail segment.
Today
Norcraft Companies employs over 1200 people, boasts 600,000
square feet of manufacturing and assembly operations, and
exceeds 100,000,000 dollars in annual sales. We ship to all
50 states via 3 plants, 4 distribution and regional service
centers, and a national network of dealers and distributors.
